A recent Gibraltar High School graduate is among the 23 young women competing to become the next Miss Wisconsin.
Two nights of preliminary competition gets underway Wednesday night in Oshkosh.
Zephyr Ciesar, Miss Door County, says most of her preparation leading up to the pageant has focused on community service and her anti-bullying platform.
When asked what her favorite part of the competition is, Ciesar didn't hesitate.
Ciesar will be singing "I Surrender" by Celine Dion.
And her biggest concern?
The final night of competition and the crowning of the new Miss Wisconsin will take place Saturday night.
Another teen from Fish Creek is also representing Door County this week. Lena MacDonald will be participating in the Outstanding Teen competition on Friday. We'll hear from her later this week.
