The season of mosquitoes is upon us. It may seem like there are a lot of mosquitoes out and about but the good news is, more mosquitoes doesn’t necessarily mean we have a higher chance at contracting West Nile Virus. UW Entomologist P.J. Liesch explains.
Liesch also explains that though the weather is supposed to get cold this week it probably won’t be cold enough to disturb the mosquitoes.
Remember if you are not looking to attract mosquitoes, don’t leave a lot of things outside around your house that will collect water.
