Cooper Trial Moves Into Second Day

The prosecution continued to present its case against 37-year-old Brian M. Cooper in the second day of his re-trial on two counts of first-degree intentional homicide. Cooper is accused of killing 21-year-old former girlfriend Alisha Bromfield and her unborn baby at a Door County Resort in 2012. The case before Judge D. Todd Ehlers will continue tomorrow.

This will be the second day of the re-trial of 37-year-old Brian M. Cooper of Plainfield, IL, in Door Count Court on two counts of first-degree intentional homicide.

A Dodge County jury yesterday mainly heard testimony from a number of law enforcement officers who investigated the scene where 21-year-old Alisha Bromfield was found dead. A number of photos of the crime scene were also shown.

The trial is expected to last most of the week.
