Don’t expect long lines at the polls for tomorrow’s spring election. With no statewide questions on the ballot, turnout in Wisconsin is expected to be around 12 percent.
Kewaunee County Clerk Jamie Annoye says voters in ten of the 20 districts on the county board will see contested races.
Also contested in Kewaunee County, a race for one spot the Luxemburg-Casco School Board and one spot on the Kewaunee School Board. There is also one contested seat for the Kewaunee City Council.
Door County Clerk Jill Lau says about 20 percent of voters usually turn out for spring elections.
There are two contested seats for the Door County Board of Supervisors, six candidates running for three seats on the Southern Door School Board, a contested race for Liberty Grove town supervisor and one seat on the Sister Bay Village Board. There is also a contested seat for the Sevastopol Town Board.
