If you can remember buying a computer or similar device back in the late 1990s you could be part of a settlement announced this week by the Attorney General’s Office. John Greene of the Department of Justice says about $310-million will go to consumers to settle price-fixing on the DRAM computer chips that were used.
How much money you will receive depends on how many people file. It may be as little as $10. Greene says it’s possible you bought at least one of these devices.
