There are three new state highway projects on tap for the summer and fall in Door County according to a tentative schedule released by the Department of Transportation.
Work on a seven-mile stretch of 42/57 from East Jorns Lane to the Bayview Bridge in Sturgeon Bay is scheduled to be done after the 4th of July.
Jeremy Aschauer of the Department of Transportation says there will be slight changes in the traffic flow after this work is done.
One lane in each direction should remain open at all times during construction and there will be no weekend work.
The other two Door County projects will not start until after Labor Day.
One project involves maintenance work on 12 miles of highway 42 from Sturgeon Bay to Egg Harbor.
The other, a 2.2 mile stretch of 42 from Gills Rock to the ferry landing.
