The Sturgeon Bay City Plan Commission is looking at two requests tonight that could change the complexion of the city.
First, a public hearing on allowing a drive-through window for the proposed CVS Pharmacy that would be built on Egg Harbor Road at the current location of the Neighborhood Pub. CVS has said they need the drive-through approved for the proposal to go ahead. The plan commission will vote after the public hearing.
Second, the commission will consider whether churches located in residential neighborhoods should be allowed to have lighted electronic message boards.
In a recent DoorCountyDailyNews.com Opinion Poll, 66-percent of those who responded were opposed to the electronic signs, 16-percent approved for churches only, 18-percent approved for any facility.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 7 at city hall.
