With just nine days remaining before the candidate filing deadline, it appears the 2014 Kewaunee County Board, could be quite different from the 2013 Board.
Four Board Supervisors, LeVerle Koenig in District 1, Donald Delebreau in District 13, Brian Paplham in District 17, and Brian D. Dax in District 18, filed non-candidacy papers and will not run for re-election.
At this time, six incumbents appear to have contested races. In District 5, Christopher Rasmussen challenges Robert Garfinkel (I), in District 6, Kenneth Tebon challenges Janice Swoboda (I), in District 9, Scott Jahnke challenges David Mayer (I), in District 14, Barry Kuzay challenges James Barlow (I), in District 16, Virginia Haske challenges Charles Hutter (I), and in District 19, John Mastalir challenges James Abrahamson(I).
Noone has yet filed papers in Distict 13. This could all change by the filing deadline date of January 7th.
