A Door County native living in Moore, Oklahoma is safe following Monday's deadly tornado. Emma Schartner, a Sevastopol High School graduate, tells DoorCountyDailyNews.com her house escaped major damage. But that wasn't the case for much of her neighborhood. Southern Door is still alive in the Division 2 regional softball tournament after easing past Sturgeon Bay 13-3 last night in the Town of Gardner. Rachel Andres notched the win in the pitcher’s circle and was a perfect 4x4 at the plate. She set a new school record in the win by finishing with a total of 122 career hits.
