Boaters Rescued In Sister Bay

Three people had to be rescued when their boat took on water and nearly sank in the waters off Sister Bay. DNR Warden Mike Neal says the three were in a bass boat about a quarter-mile offshore just south of Yacht Works around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when they noticed they had taken on a lot of water. Northern Door handed Sturgeon Bay a 5-2 loss last night in American Legion Baseball played at Memorial Field in Sturgeon Bay. Matt Hecht kept the Bays batters in check all night to earn the win for Northern Door on the hill.
