Brussels Man Arrested, Accused Of Trying To Pass Counterfeit Bills

A Brussels man was arrested after police say he tried to pass two counterfeit $20 bills at a Sturgeon Bay bank.   According to a Sturgeon Bay Police Department blog, officers were called to Baylake Bank on May 15 for a forgery complaint. Overbeck Wins High School State Trap Shoot To Lead Door County Teens

After two weekends of competition in Mayville, Wisconsin, Southern Door sophomore Mitchell Overbeck won the Class D High School State Trap Shoot. The state champion shot 77 out of 100 targets during the six day trap shoot. Overbeck’s best round was 23 out of 25.
