Lovie J. Kline, 90 of Luxemburg, passed away early Monday morning, November 13, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, following a serious fall. Dr. Nicholas R. Wagener, 85, of Ellenton, FL, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, WI, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Riviera Palms Rehabilitation Center in Palmetto, FL.
He was born April 24, 1932 in Sturgeon Bay, the son of Capt. Nicholas J. Wagener and Mercedes E. (DeJardine) Wagener. Nicholas graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1950, where he met his high school sweetheart, Gretna Ann Weber. They were united in marriage on October 4, 1952 in La Grange, IL
Mildred Matilda Ehlers, 98, of Algoma, formerly of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.
She was born August 11, 1919 in Sturgeon Bay, the daughter of the late Fredrick Earnest and Elsie (Diefenbach) Wilke Sr. Millie married Roland Alfred Ehlers on September 20, 1939 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Valmy. They were blessed with over 55 years of marriage. Roland preceded Millie in death on July 24, 1995.
Alvestine "Alvin" J. Kugel, 91 of Pilsen died Monday morning, November 13, 2017. He was born in Kewaunee County on June 01, 1926 to the late Wencil “Vencil” and Anna (Pivonka) Kugel. Alvin served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion Ralph Kline Post 262, Luxemburg. On June 04, 1947 Alvin married Anna I. Vanness at St. Hubert Church, Sugarbush. She preceded him in death on February 03, 1998.
Alice Regina Koller, 97, was born September 20,1920 to William and Grace (Seeman) Koller. She passed from this life on Friday morning, November 10, at Maple Ridge Care Center in Green Bay. Alice grew up on a farm in the Town of West Kewaunee, attended local schools, graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1938 and, as a young adult, inherited land from her uncle Philip Koller in 1943 that was to become the Kettle Hole Resort on Found Lake near St. Germain.
