Brief Description of Event: The Door County Maritime Museum and Write On, Door County partner to present a monthly book club that feature books with a Great Lakes focus. Books of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry that have the Great Lakes as subject matter or as setting will be discussed with a facilitator from Write On. The group will meet at 10:30 am on the first Thursday of each month at the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay. “Stress Fracture- A Memoir of Psychosis”

Please join Door County Public Health Department’s Mental Health Focus Group for a speaker event in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month!

Tara Meissner, a journalist from Manitowoc, has written a book entitled “Stress Fracture- A Memoir of Psychosis”.  The book offers a raw view of a woman swallowed by psychosis, and her journey to health. Information regarding the book is available at: http://amzn.to/1yMefgi .

The library will have a discussion of her book moderated by Becca Berger and Dr. Dennis White on May 7 at 2:00 p.m.
