The Zoological Society of Kewaunee County will be holding the fourth annual Zoobilee fundraiser to benefit Bruemmer Park Zoo on August 30.  The event features a 5K run and walk, car and tractor show, kids area, petting zoo, arts and craft vendors, and much more.  The 5K run and walk begins at 8:30 a.m. and all other events begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m.  Polka music will be played from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. and The Cougars will be playing live from 6- 10 p.m.  Food and beverages will be available all day.

Meet their first resident bird, Aisling, a Eurasian Eagle Owl. People from the sanctuary will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about birds and about the sanctuary itself.
