Inter-generational Writing Workshop
3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

An inter-generational writing workshop sponsored by Write On Door County will bring together a group of seniors from the Door County Senior Center and a group of 3rd-5th graders from the Door County Boys and Girls Club to write, trade stories about growing up, and partner up for interviews.

The 6-week workshop will be held on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00 pm. It will begin on April 8 and run for the next 6 Wednesdays. For the first 3 sessions the Seniors will meet at the Door County Senior Center and the kids will meet at the Boys and Girls Club on 3rd Avenue in Sturgeon Bay.

Seniors interested in signing up for the workshop can do so by stopping by the Door County Senior Center, located at 832 N 14th Avenue, or by calling Judy Dobbins at 746-2542.

A similar workshop will also be held in Northern Door. For information on the Northern Door workshop and locations please contact Write On Door County at 920-868-1457

Investigative Reporting + Art: Water Watch Wisconsin
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

The Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism is going on tour — with a cow

We've transformed our reporting on problems with Wisconsin's water quality and supply into sculptures that you can see and touch — including a life-size half cow and 1,000 balls of wool. Meet artist Carrie Roy and Center reporters, and learn about Wisconsin water in a series of events across the state.
