The Door County YMCA's Labor Day Weekend Run & Duathlon will kick off the holiday weekend with a healthy start. Participants can register for the 1/2-mile children's run, 5k run/walk or the duathlon, which entails a 2-mile run, 12-mile bike and 2-mile run. All events begin and end at the Northern Door Program Center. Overall and age group honors will be awarded in the 5k & duathlon, and all 1/2-mile children's run participants will receive a medal. 

Schedule of Events:
7am – onsite registration
8am – duathlon
9:45am – 5k run/walk
10:15 – 1/2-mile children's run
10:30am – awards

In Search of Wild Edibles

Alexander Noble House Museum presents “A House in Mourning”, turn back the clocks to mark the hour, drape the mirrors and cover the windows in black.  The funeral of all funerals is about to transcend on Fish Creek.  Alexander Noble is lying in state.  The house is respectfully prepared and coffin, flowers and apparel have been set.  Come and see what a true Victorian funeral setting is like.  Museum hours 10-3:00 Tuesdays-Saturdays. 4167 Main Street
