Mark your calendar and save the date for the Kimberley House 3rd Annual Fat Friday Dinner Event on April 11 from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. This year’s event will once again be held at the United Methodist Church, 836 Michigan Street, in Sturgeon Bay.
Guest Chefs Judy Samida and Guy Fortin will prepare deep fried turkey, jambalaya, sweet potato casserole and homemade desserts. Coffee and milk will also be served.
Enjoy music provided by the Door County Strings Academy from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm and the Ministry Door County Medical Center Children’s Choir from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
Tickets are available at the door. Adult tickets are $14 each and children 12 and under are $7 each. Save $1 per ticket, call Jim Knipfer at (920) 559-0107 to purchase your tickets in advance.
The mission of the Kimberley House is to provide a structured, transitional living arrangement for adults in the early stages of alcohol and/or drug abuse recovery in preparation for returning to an independent lifestyle.
The Kimberly House provides a safe, comfortable and clean home. The goal of the Kimberly House staff and supporters is to help residents effect positive changes in themselves physically, emotionally, spiritually and socially in order to develop and maintain more productive chemically-free lifestyles.
