Algoma D.I. Fundraiser iCal

Sunday, February 23 2014 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Kewaunee and Door County residents are invited to help support the Algoma School District’s Destination Imagination teams on Sunday, Feb. 23 with an informal dinner featuring food prepared by Chef Chris from Skaliwags.

Dinner will be served from noon to 5 p.m. in the Algoma Elementary School cafeteria, 514 Fremont St., with performances by the District D.I. teams between 1 and 4:30 p.m. There will also be a silent auction.

The $10 dinner menu for age 11 and up  — $5 for 10 and under — features pulled pork, a small rack of ribs, corn on the cob, a side dish and coffee, milk or water. Desserts will be available ala carte.

Profits will benefit the Algoma School District Global Finals Fund.

This year's Bay Lake Regional D.I. tournament will be at the Sturgeon Bay High School March 1 (http://www.wisconsindi.org/index.php/event/bay-lake-regional-tournament/); the top two teams in each category advance to the State Tournament at UW-Stevens Point April 12 (http://www.wisconsindi.org/index.php/event/wisconsin-affiliate-tournament). Teams that place in the top three at state qualify for the Global Finals May 21-24 in Knoxville, Tenn.

For more information, or to donate an item for the silent auction fundraiser, contact Algoma D.I. coordinator Robyn Harper at (920) 360-3192.
