Saturday, January 18 2014 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

On Saturday, January 18 at 9 a.m., the DCA’s Distinguished Lecture Series will offer its first lecture of the season, entitled “Gracious Hosts—Bacterial Colonization of the Human Body.” In the lecture, Dr. David Hunnicutt, associate professor of biology at St. Norbert College, will focus on recent studies describing the “human microbiome” and how such discoveries open up new ways of thinking about health, disease, and what it means to be human.

Hunnicutt’s lecture is free to the public and is sponsored by Dahl Law Firm and Ross Estate Planning; lodging is provided by Apple Creek Resort. Refreshments from Base Camp Coffee Shop will be available for purchase.
