Jesus’ birth, heralded by angels, shepherds and wise men, comes to life Saturday, Dec. 15 and Sunday, Dec. 16 when members of First Baptist Church of Sturgeon Bay recreate the annual production of The Living Nativity. Biblical narration and Christmas carols retell the story of the coming Christ child using the gospels of Matthew and Luke under the night’s open sky.

The community to attend the free outdoor performances in preparation for the Christmas season at First Baptist Church of Sturgeon Bay, located at 610 North Fifth Avenue, Sturgeon Bay.  Performances are at 5 and 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 and Sunday, Dec. 16.  Admission is free and refreshments are served indoors in the church’s fellowship hall after each performance.
