Due to the increased interest in a topic which has become even more personal to Door County,  Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministrycontinues its COMMUNITY HEALTH INFORMATION PROGRAMS with the latest series of programs focusing on “Diseases of the Blood”.   On SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, at 4:00 pm, J. Mitchell Winkler, M.D. from Green Bay Oncology will present a program entitled “Leukemia Treatments from Past to Present”. 

It's easy to forget, but it wasn’t very long ago that the treatments we might today take for granted hadn't yet been developed. The contrast between treatments of yesteryear and those of today highlights how far we have come, as well as the importance of continued innovation.
