The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers refused to be victimized by a walk-off hit for the third night in a row, defeating the West Michigan Whitecaps 6-5. After trading runs the first six innings, the Timber Rattlers would register what ended up being the game-winning run in the top of the seventh when Trevor Morrison knocked in two with a bloop single. A 6-3 advantage at that point, the Whitecaps would whittle the lead down to just one before Gabe Friese closed things out for the Timber Rattlers to salvage one victory in the three-game set. The Timber Rattlers will head south for a three-game set with the South Bend Cubs with first pitch at 6:05 p.m.
