It was well worth the wait for home fans as the Green Bay Bullfrogs beat the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 6-4 on a walk-off home-run. The game started under a rain delay for approximately 40 minutes before the Rafters would take an early 2-0 lead after three innings. The Bullfrogs would double up their visitors in the fourth inning, plating four runs thanks to timely hitting and a wild pitch. The Rafters would rally to tie the game in the top of the ninth before the Bullfrogs’ Matthew Acosta dealt the game’s fatal blow with a two-run homer. David Toth got the victory for the Bullfrogs, who venture south Saturday for a matchup against the Lakeshore Chinooks with the first pitch at 6:35.
