The Green Bay Blizzard were officially eliminated from the Indoor Football League playoffs following a 34-27 loss to the Cedar Rapids Titans. It was a back and forth game and a defensive struggle with Green Bay trailing 7-6 at the half. Cedar Rapids jumped out to a 14-6 lead midway through the 3rd quarter before Bryan Hicks connected with Levi Copelin for a touchdown and two-point conversion to tie the game. Cedar Rapids scored at the end of the 3rd quarter to put it up 21-14 going into the final quarter of the game. Jerome Jones brought Green Bay back in the game following a 32 yard run for a touchdown, but the kick was no good and the Blizzard trailed 21-20. The Titans extended the lead 27-20 on another touchdown but missed the kick. Serge Trezy scored a 4-yard rushing touchdown and the kick was good to tie the game up once again at 27-27. Cedar Rapids scored what would be the final points of the game on a touchdown with 4:06 left in the game. Green Bay had time to make a comeback until Bryan Hicks threw an interception with 3:29 left in the game and the Titans ran out the clock. Green Bay falls to 2-11 on the year, having played its final home game of 2018.
