By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-2 yesterday afternoon to complete the series sweep. Brent Suter started on the bump for Milwaukee and went nearly six innings of two run baseball.
The bats came alive in the seventh innings as Milwaukee hung a seven spot. First a Jesus Aguilar single knocked in two runs. Then it was Travis Shaw with a three run bomb in the inning as well to give them a comfortable lead.
The Brewers now continue their home stand with a series against the Mets. Zach Davies will take the mound tonight. First pitch being thrown out at 7:10. At (31-19) this is the best start to a season in Milwaukee Brewers franchise history through 50 games.
