Bay Ship evened their season record at (1-1) with a 13-4 win over DC Co-op Wednesday. Caden LeMieux led the game off with a home run crushed over the left field fence to put the Ships up 1-0. Co-op quickly took the lead back, scoring three runs in the first two innings. The Ships’ bats didn’t stay quiet for long, though. Blake Guilette hit a three-run blast in the top of the 3rd, putting the Ships back up 4-3. Bay Ship scored five more in the top of the 4th, including a three-run shot in straightaway center field from Tyler Plizak. The Ships added four more runs in the top of the 5th to put the game out of reach. Every player for the Ships reached base safely a t least once. Leading Hitters included Caden LeMieux went 3×4 from the plate, including a home run and three runs scored. Tyler Plizak went 2×4 including a double, home run, three RBI, and two runs scored. Blake Guilette went 3×4 with a single, double, home run, and three RBI. Pitchers: Caden LeMieux lasted two innings, giving up three runs. Drew Daoust (WP) was dominant through two shutout innings. Vance DeKeyser closed the game out, throwing the final two innings, and allowing only one run.
The Kiwanis moved to (2-0) in a tight 7-6 battle with the Red Room. Brody Kollath and Alaric Urban combined for the win on the mound. Will Jandrin had two hits including a homerun, Urban knocked one out of the park, Matthew Malvitz had two hits and Cole Rass smashed two hits in the win. Isaac Marsh led Red Room with two hits including a homerun. Teammates Finn Stuth and Jack Henry each had two hits.
Nicolet Bank is the only other undefeated team left in the league at (2-0). They beat Rotary 16-4. Tyler Neinas was the winning pitcher. Leading hitters were Tatum Routhieaux and Danny Lodl. Nick Beck had three hits, Sam Zirbel added two including a homerun and Zach Krueger had three hits as well.
