By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Colorado Rockies 7-3 on Mother’s Day. Freddy Peralta made his major league debut for Milwaukee and it was a special one. He took a no-hitter into the sixth inning while striking out thirteen batters in the game.
Travis Shaw hit a monster homer in the third inning to give Freddy a little bit of breathing room. Jesus Aguilar followed that up in the sixth with a three-run shot. Milwaukee never looked back in this one.
The Brewers will now start a series with the Diamondbacks on Monday. Junior Guerra will take the mound for Milwaukee. First pitch being thrown out at 8:40.
