By Brett Kinnard The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Colorado Rockies 5-2 last night in Colorado. Jhoulys Chacin pitched really well against his former team. He went nearly six innings while only allowing two runs. Corey Knebel came in and shut the door on the Rockies for his first save since coming off the DL.
It was Lorenzo Cain homering off the first pitch of the game to kick off the scoring. He added another RBI single in the fifth and the Brewers never looked back in this one.
The Brewers will now continue their series with the Rockies tonight. Brandon Woodruff will take the mound for Milwaukee. First pitch being thrown out at 7:40.
