In a defensive game that saw missed opportunities and missed calls, the Boston Celtics took a three games to two lead in the NBA first-round playoff series over the Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday night with a 92-87 victory.
The Bucks fell behind by as many as 18 points in the first half and rallied to get within four points in the second half, but could get no closer. Boston was led by Al Horford with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Kris Middleton scored 23 points for the Bucks, but Giannis Antetokounmpo was held to 16 points on only ten shots as the Bucks struggled with shooting all night finishing at just 36.8 percent from the field.
The teams will now travel back to Milwaukee for game six on Thursday night where the Celtics can clinch the series. If the Bucks win Thursday, game seven is set for Saturday at the Boston Gardens.
