The Milwaukee Bucks took advantage of returning to the BMO Bradley Center on Friday night, beating the #2 seed Boston Celtics 116-92 in Game 3 in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The win closes the gap in the series to 2-1 in favor of Boston. Milwaukee outscored Boston 27-12 in the opening quarter and never looked back, leading by as much as 28 at one point in the game. Defense was a strong suit of the team, as the Bucks blocked 13 Celtics shots. Offensively, Khris Middleton led the Bucks with a game-high 23 points, Giannis chipped in 19 and Eric Bledsoe and Jabari Parker each scored 17 in the win. The Celtics were led by Al Horford with 16. The Bucks will look to even the series at 2 on Sunday with a noon tip-off scheduled. Milwaukee will have an uphill battle, as even with Friday’s win, Boston is 35-0 all-time when leading a 7 game series 2-0.
