Edward D. Weber, better known as “Dan Weber”, 83, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at home on April 13, 2018. He was born to Edward & Winifred (Woerfel) Weber in Sturgeon Bay on January 31, 1935.
Dan graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1952. After graduation he worked for Ballo Motors and throughout his career he was Parts Manager at several Ford dealerships in Southeastern Wisconsin. He retired from Hiller Ford in Franklin on April 1, 1998.
Dan enjoyed many award-winning trips as a result of outstanding work as well as wonderful family travels in and outside of the US. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends but mostly spending time at home looking out at Lake Michigan. He was an avid supporter of the Door County Humane Society.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Mary, his children, Dan (Judy), James, Kevin, Todd, Jason (Lori); grandchildren Laura, Eric, Jeral (Amanda), Riley, Christopher (Kristi), Michael (Crystal), Matthew (Lindsey), Evan and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Noah, Emma, Gibson, Easton and Nixon; step-children, David (Susan) Larsen, Sherrie Thompson; step-grandson Robert (Courtney) Larsen; step great-grandchildren Dustin & Sophika. He is also survived by other family, many friends, and his sweet, gentle cat Pickle.
He was preceded in death by his two precious sons, Craig & Scott.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with burial at Bayside Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
