Former Wisconsin Badgers CB Nick Nelson might see his NFL Draft stock fall following a torn meniscus during a private workout with a team on Friday. Before the injury, the former Badger was projected as a 3rd or 4th Round pick with an NFL starter grade based on film and combine results. Nelson is expected to miss three to four months following surgery but should be able to play near the start of NFL Training Camp. Nelson was a first-team All-Big Ten selection in his only season with Wisconsin following his transfer from Hawaii. Nelson also played very well on special teams, blocking a kick and serving as the Badgers punt returner, with 24 returns, 206 yards, and a touchdown against Michigan.
