Outscored 32-19 in the final stanza of regulation, the Milwaukee Bucks eventually could not keep pace with the host Denver Nuggets in a 128-125 loss Sunday night. Lopsided quarters were a theme of the evening with the Bucks dominating the first and third quarters and the Nuggets outscoring their visitors 41-20 in the second quarter. Jabari Parker led the way with 35 points off the bench while Eric Bledsoe chipped in 31 points in the losing effort for the Bucks. Nikola Jokic matched Parker’s 35 points for the Nuggets, but was also supported Jamal Murray’s 27 points and Paul Millsap’s 26. The loss puts them in a tie for the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with the Miami Heat, which holds a tiebreaker over the Bucks thanks to the regular season sweep of their matchups.
