A pitcher’s duel ended in the 12 innings with Orlando Arcia hitting the go-ahead single to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to 2-1 opening day win against the San Diego. Chase Anderson cemented his team ace status with six inning of one-hit baseball. Newly acquired Christian Yelich made the most of his Brewers debut, driving in Anderson to give the team an early 1-0 before the Padres would strike in the bottom half of the 9th. In the top of 12, Ji-Man Choi slapped a double before being driven home on Arcia’s single. The Brewers go from matinee to late night as they face the Padres again Friday at 9:10.
