The DCY Swim Team comprised of 50 local swimmer aged seven to 18 will compete at the YMCA State meet this weekend in Milwaukee. The Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center will be the epicenter of swimming in the state of Wisconsin this weekend. The headliner of course is Sevastopol senior Max McHugh in his final state meet. If Max brings home a pair of golds he will pass his brother Conner as the most decorated swimmer in the history of Wisconsin YMCA Swimming.
Coaches, swimmers and their parents will make their way to Milwaukee Friday with a number of athletes competing Friday night already. Competition eds Sunday.
