The Gibraltar Vikings (10-6, 6-4) visit the Kewaunee Storm (11-5, 9-2) Monday night in a crucial Packerland Conference game. While just one win separates the two sides overall, the Vikings need a win to pull within two games of Kewaunee for second place. Gibraltar also needs a win to keep their advantage over Peshtigo, Algoma, and Oconto who all have six conference wins.
Gibraltar enters Monday’s game on a one-game win streak after defeating Chilton 56-39 last Thursday. The Vikings come off a busy four games over seven days grabbing two wins from their rapid-fire games.
The Storm boasts a dynamic offense that has won four of it’s last six games. Kewaunee has benefitted from terrific scoring from Sarah Dax (20.8 ppg) and Mackenzie Tlachac (14.0 ppg) to propel them to nine Packerland Conference wins. The Storm dropped their last game 54-48 Thursday night against Southern Door placing them just one game out of first place in conference play.
