The Milwaukee Brewers shook the baseball world by adding two Gold Glove outfielders for the 2018 season. First, the Brewers acquired Christian Yelich from Miami in a trade that sent outfielders Lewis Brinson and Monte Harrison, infielder Isan Diaz and right-handed pitcher Jordan Yamamoto to the Marlins. Coming on the heels of that trade, the Brewers signed free agent centerfielder Lorenzo Cain to a five-year, $80 million contract. Yelich and Cain are expected to become cornerstone players for a Brewers squad that should be good enough to contend with the Cubs and Cardinals for the division title.
