Another weekend, another championship for the Kewaunee Storm as its wrestlers captured the Herb Tyler Invitational crown Saturday in Sheboygan. The Storm paced the field with 176 total points, winning by 28 points over Oshkosh West.
Jesse Steinhorst (145) won a title while Travis Reinke (170), Cam Hanrahan (132), and Jack Severin (120) made it to the championship match. Thirteen Storm wrestlers placed overall in the 21-team tournament.
A short-handed Southern Door took 17th in the tournament, bringing only six total wrestlers. Griffin Slezewski was the top finisher for the Eagles, finishing in 5th place at 113 pounds. Grant Englebert and Drew Price also placed.
