Sturgeon Bay was a 40-36 winner over Kewaunee. The Clippers fell behind 22-16 at half time but recovered with incredible defense in the second half. The Storm managed just nine points in the second half. Big man Jared VanBramer and guard Mitchell Jackson each scored 12 points to lead the Clippers. Kewaunee had six players score in the game, none hit double digits. The Clippers were down 36-30 with approximately three minutes to play and Sturgeon Bay went on a 10-0 run to close out the game.
Southern Door beat N.E.W. Lutheran 83-61 in Green Bay last night. The Eagles leading scorers were Kyle Daoust with 25, Sam Gerend with 22 and Derik Lecaptain added 14 points in the win.
Oconto powered past Sevastopol 81-45 Thursday. The Pioneers got 13 points from Robby Pollman and 12 from Eddie Garcia in the loss. Connor Ebben scored 20 points and Isaac Woller added 18 in the win for the Blue Devils. Oconto led 48-22 at the half and controlled the action from the tip.
