Diane Jane Peterman, 66, Algoma, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 19th. She was born September 25, 1951 in Appleton to Kenneth and Dorothy (Sutheimer) Winkler.
Diane graduated from Appleton East High School. She worked at a local grocery store when she met and married Craig Peterman on July 24, 1976 in Appleton.
They moved to Algoma in 2000 when they bought the Algoma Piggly Wiggly. Diane recently retired from the Bank of Luxemburg where she had worked the past 10 years. Diane enjoyed the special times she spent with her family. She also enjoyed cheering on all the major Wisconsin sports teams.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Algoma.
Diane is survived by her husband Craig, two sons Ben Peterman (Jessica and her son Cayden); and Jeff (Jenny) Peterman; her siblings Jim (Joan) Winkler, Linda (Bob) Prunuske, Mark (Nancy) Winkler and Patti (John) Schaub; father and mother-in-law Wayne and Nancy Peterman, brother-in-law Lee Peterman and sister-in-law Lynn (Earl) Park. Diane was preceded in death by her parents Ken and Dorothy Winkler.
Family and friends may call at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, Algoma, from 4 PM – 7 PM, Friday Nov. 24, 2017. Prayer service 7 PM at the funeral home.
The funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St, Appleton. Viewing from 12 noon until the Mass of Christian Burial at 2 PM.
