The Badgers remain undefeated with a third-quarter one-two punch, sending Michigan’s Wolverines to the mat on Saturday. With the greatest challenge for the Wisconsin team thus far this year, the Badgers showed their talent and determination with a 24-10 win against the Wolverines. Badgers were first on board with a touchdown by Nelson on the return. The Wolverines answered back with a touchdown in the final minutes of the second quarter.
Michigan came out first in the second half with a field goal following an interception, but then it got interesting. With two connections to Taylor, Hornibrook displayed his passing prowess leading to their first touchdown of the quarter. In the final minute of the third quarter, the Badgers drove down the field and scored another touchdown with a reverse play to Pryor. The Badgers capped it off with a field goal in the fourth quarter, solidifying their place in the Big Ten.
The Badgers go to Minneapolis to face the Golden Gophers on Saturday, November 25th at 2:30 p.m. The Wisconsin team will need to put Minnesota and then Ohio State on the canvas the following week to secure a semifinal spot.
