Megan Cannon ran the offense dishing out 36 assists and accounting for six kills. Peyton VandenBush had one of her finest games of the season tallying 12 kills and four blocks. Cassie Schiltz contended with regular double blocks yet still racked up 12 kills. Alexis Dorner finished with 10 kills and four aces. Finally, it was the “Molly Wotruba Show” in the back row again with 23 digs and three aces.
Coach Frey said, “I thought we played well tonight, weathered the nerves a little early and then played well. Very excited for our girls to be Regional Champs, but what excites me more is how excited they are to take another shot at Notre Fame next week.”
