Sevastopol beat N.E.W. Lutheran Thursday (25-22, 25-17, 25-15). The sweep featured Aly Differt’s seven kill and 11 assist performance. Courtney Tebo added seven kills. Mya Ploor tallied five kills, five ace serves and nine assists.
Sturgeon Bay and Gibraltar went five games and the Clippers prevailed (11-25, 25-20, 25-22, 18-25, 15-11). Sturgeon Bay was led by Katie Frank’s 22 set assists. Morgan Nelson added 16 set assists and two aces. Koko Hartzell finished with 13 kills, two aces and four blocks. Andie Rockendorf contributed 10 kills. Hailey DeGrave amassed 13 kills and two aces. Finally, Alison Bridenhagen chipped in five kills and five blocks on senior night.
Southern Door beat Kewaunee in three straight sets (25-22, 26-24, 25-20. Kendra Dantoin led the team in kills with 13 and Grace LeGrave added nine in the sweep. Tehya Bertrand was the assist leader with 27.
Luxemburg-Casco just keeps on rolling. The Spartans swept Waupaca at home Thursday (25-14, 25-9, 25-13). The win brings L-C to (26-8) overall and ( 8-0) in conference. Megan Cannon set well with 19 assists plus six digs. Cassie Schiltz smashed nine kills and three aces. Molly Wotruba added 15 digs and three aces.
Coach Jeff Frey said, “Tonight was Senior Night, and we got to honor a great group of seven seniors who have put so much time and dedication into our program. It was a special night and proud night as a coach to see how close our girls are and the bonds that they have made, they really are a family.”
