Despite a game full of fumbles and interceptions the Gibraltar Vikings spoiled the Wausaukee Rangers Homecoming with a 46-30 victory.
After a dominating first half by the Vikings, Wausaukee pulled the deficit down to just eight points. The Vikings defense stepped up late thanks to a multi-sack game from Nate Ewaskowitz and timely interceptions from Alex Laughlin.
Trevor Reinhardt tossed five touchdowns to three different receivers but gave up two interceptions, including a pick-six. Despite the poor playing conditions, Reinhardt led the Vikings to victory, along with smooth running from Daniel Hallet and impressive play from Laughlin and Ewaskowitz on offense.
