The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday night 6-0. Brandon Woodruff was on the bump for Milwaukee and went only two innings as the Reds tagged him for six runs. It was a combination of pitchers from there on out to get them to the end of the game.
The Brewers just weren’t able to get anything going at the plate Wednesday night. Homer Bailey went seven innings strong for the Reds allowing zero earned runs on the night. Milwaukee is now two and a half games back in the wild card and six games back in the division.
The Brewers will now take on Cincinnati in game four of the series on Thursday. First pitch being thrown out at 3:10.
