The Algoma Wolves won a seesaw affair against Sevastopol last night in Packerland Conference volleyball. After dropping the first game 25-21, the Wolves rebounded with a 25-16 win of their own in game two. The Pioneers won game three 25-11 meaning all Sevastopol had to do was win one of the remaining two games.
Algoma played their best volleyball of the night in game four winning 25-13. Then in game five it was more back and forth but the Wolves held off Sevastopol for a 15-12 win in the game and a (3-2) match score.
The Pioneers were led by Aly Differt who tallied 12 kills and 12 assists, Mya Ploor with 13 kills and 12 digs and Brooke Hurth who logged 20 digs and three ace serves.
