The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Miami Marlins 10-3 on Sunday afternoon. Brandon Woodruff started on the bump for Milwaukee and went seven innings strong only surrendering three earned runs to the Marlins. The bullpen came in relief and held them scoreless.
Most of the scoring started in the fourth for the Brewers. Started off by a Manny Piña RBI single, Milwaukee would go on to score seven more runs that inning to put them up 8-0. They never looked back as they held on to this one 10-3. The Brewers now sit two and a half games back in the wild card and four games back in the division.
The Brewers will now travel to Pittsburgh to begin a three game series with the Pirates.
