The Milwaukee Brewers kept their playoff hopes alive with a 1-0 victory of the Washington Nationals at Miller Park Friday night. A game that saw 10 Brewers go down swinging thanks to hot pitching from Nationals Tanner Roark. A solo home run in the 1st inning by Neil Walker was all the Crew needed to claim their 71st win of the season. Ryan Bruan exited the game in the first inning after arguing with the home plate umpire to make for one memorable leadoff inning.
Milwaukee trails the Chicago Cubs by 3.5 games but only trails the Colorado Rockies by 1.5 games after their loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks yesterday.
The Brewers take on the Nationals in game three from Miller Park tonight at 7:10.
