The Milwaukee Brewers beat the St. Louis Cardinals 6-5 in a game that ended with a bang. Chase Anderson started on the bump for Milwaukee. He pitched six innings of three run ball to keep the Cardinals within striking distance.
It was a big sixth inning for ‘The Crew’ as both Domingo Santana and Jonathan Villar both hit bombs in that inning. To close out the game Keon Broxton made a spectacular leaping catch to rob the Cardinals of a homer and the lead in the game.
The Brewers will now open a home series against the Washington Nationals. First pitch being thrown out at 7:10 tonight.
