The Spartans came out strong in the second half with an impressive 70 yard drive that was capped by a eight yard touchdown run by Nathan Coisman. That gave the Spartans a 14-13 lead.
The turning point of the game came late in the third quarter after Austin Tlachac’s punt pinned the Foxes on their four yard line. Rodencal ripped off an 84 yard run (see video below) to set up a nine yard TD pass from Andrew Reader to Jadyn Stoffel. The Foxes tacked on another score on Rodencal’s third TD run of the night with 9:15 left in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
